i had the pleasure of being flown up to Seattle, WA to shoot Thuy and Gippy’s wedding. i was a little apprehensive at first, being a traditional Vietnamese tea ceremony wedding where i didn’t know what was supposed to happen next. i met with the wedding party the day before and after meeting them, i could heave a sigh of relief. everyone was so funny, and it was like we were just going to a house party!
my amazing 2nd photog Ruthie brought out each family member’s true personalities with her beautiful portraiture, even when the ceremony was held in a small, crowded living room. sure, we worked hard for 15 hours, and it rained most of the weekend we were there, but it was SUCH a pleasure to work with her, and i really hope to be able to work with her again soon!
