This rockstar model came to the studio today for some MMA-type fashion shots. First thought when I saw her: SHORT. She is TINY, and a dancer (so it would take some direction to make her look mean and threatening). Had a chat with her while in makeup and she has a big personality that makes up for her size.

Anyways, the MUA used some synthetic stuff to make her look “wet” without drying out or messing up the makeup. Awesome! I have to find out from her what that was. Everyone on the crew did an awesome job that morning! We even had a near pro MMA fighter consulting on the stances, applying hand wraps correctly, and on proper kicking form. Look for JoJo on the upcoming MMA reality show, the Book of James.
