i was asked to shoot some family portraits for a friend and her kiddies. i’ve been able to shoot them before so of course i said yes! i brought my awesome assistant j.v. and we staged a christmas scene at their home and went at it. still being november, the weather was still warm, but i still preferred to have the fireplace lit so that we could really warm up the scene (as well as the room!). the girls and the kids were troopers and braved the heat and we got some great intimate shots for their holiday cards.
indoor scene was lit by diffused lighting from the window to the right, and indirect light from the windows to the left.
i love these kids! so much personality and ridiculously adorable!
